What a fantastic story! Congratulations on your sucess! You look amazing!!! And what a gorgeous little guy you have! He is lucky to have you as his mom and I'm sure your husband is very prould of you too!!!!

I started this journey at 5' 10" and 328.6 pounds... I joined MFP about six weeks ago and have lost 31 pounds to date! I made my first mini-goal of being under 300 pounds!!! It seems impossible at this point to get to my healthy weight... your story is exactly what I needed! I look at your photos and listen to your story, and that is so me!!! I am happy with my life overall! But I want to be able to run & play sports with my kids! Thank you so much for sharing! Such a motivation and exactly when I needed it!!!
  • This is soo motivating. I am down 35 lbs from 260 and my goal weight is 150....

Hi Shannon, What a story and outcome. I want this dream too so I am logging in every day (even worried about when I take vacation) and getting good at where I can improve every single day. It's been 40 days today for me and that excites me! You made a dream come true for yourself and it must feel so freeing to know that you have over come so many things and are in control. I want to wish many blessings for you and your family as you go on in the journey of life:)

Wow. Your story is amazing! I'm the opposite. I had a health scare, I had tried everything (except eating less and moving more because OBVIOUSLY that wouldn't work, duh!) over the years. I'm over halfway to my goal now though, and already it's like a whole new life. I'd be proud to know you. Can we be MFP friends?
