    I saw online that there is "ice cream" salt? does that help? where do you get it? walmart?

    I used regular salt! You don't need to buy the ice cream salt. If you do want to try it with ice cream salt, I would check WalMart and it might even be shelved near or under the ice cream makers. If not there, maybe the regular salt aisle. I would suggest using oven mitts or a towel while shaking this up because it does get really cold.

    Yes, I did this in middle school! Thereafter, I did it a few more times, but haven't done it in years! Nice to realize it is so long in calories.
