This is me around 2 years ago, taken outside a club. I weighed around 246lbs at the time. I couldn't just wear just a shirt out, I always had to hide behind a hoodie so that I felt comfortable. Oh how things change! 70+ lbs down and I feel so much better.

I'm real thick but luckily didn't catch belly fat until i hit around 200 - all in my legs, butt and arms... This woman looks small, do thin women like this really get bellies like that or is this more like baby weight. It seems weird to see only weight in the stomach and no where else.
I am considered "thin" I guess...and yes, I hold a lot of belly fat. I have had a baby (5 years ago) but this has always been the case for me.0 -

My oh crap wake up call wasn't a photo. I've seen plenty, I've known I was BIG, but that wasn't what grabbed my attention. I had an aunt that was a large lady all her life and she passed away rather unexpectedly at 64. That is such a young age. I realized then that I HAD to lose the weight. I have a 14 month old daughter and I want to be here with her as long as possible. I have various health issues already, and I'm not even 25 yet. That was what grabbed me, shook me, and said "Hey, it's time to be over being a fat kid and make better choices!" So I joined MFP and started walking with 2 of my cousins from the same side of the family my aunt is from. We have all changed our eating habits and we have all lost some weight. We still have a long way to go, I have the longest, but I KNOW that I'm going to lose the weight. Because I am determined and I have prayed that God would see my efforts and multiply them. I trust Him, He is faithful, and He is helping me overcome.0

This is me a few months ago. I probably even gained a few lbs. since that picture and before I started on here 3 weeks ago.0

Here are mine. I was hovering around 215-220 in all these photos; these were all HUGE wakeup calls, unfortunately I didn't start to do anything until I reached 250. Now I'm around 230 and still chuggin! :sad:0

Here's one of the few pictures of me, as I've tried to burn most! This was taken about 3 months before I finally decided enough was enough. Doesn't help I'm standing next to one of my skinny friends LOL okay guess it wouldn't matter who I was standing next to at 285 lbs I made everyone look skinny.0

Terrible! It's obvious my body isn't meant to carry this much weight. And I'm a little heavier than when this picture was taken.

This was taken about 3 years ago. I was maybe 220 lbs. and about a size 18 or 20. I was posed with 2 friends I just cropped out, yea look at my huge legs and double chin I looked hideous! Fast forward to now I'm 52 pounds lighter and a size 10 or 12 (depending on brands) I still need to loose about 25 more pounds but I look a heck of a lot better nowso proud of my progress, even through I'm not done yet.
This is what I look like now! big difference
