I don't have any pictures of my body from when I was at my heaviest. Even before I had a "holy crap!" moment, I knew and avoided cameras like they would kill me. But I do have this comparison -



and this is actually a "during" picture after I'd lost 40 pounds and decided I needed a progress pic. I can't believe how fat i still am in this picture, it really makes me think "holy *kitten* I can't believe I ever let it get as far as it did!"

This is a brilliant thread and makes me feel so ashamed of myself. Even though we all feel big there is so much beauty on show. I have no photo's to share as I have refused to have my photo taken for over 10 years when ever I have got 'big'.. which includes no photos of me with my new born son. Looking back I really regret this after seeing all your photos so today I am having a picture taken with my 7 month old son.. Thank you and well done to you all xxx

I just recently came across the pic on the left. My BIL took it when the family was visiting. Hubby and the kids were all smiling for the camera. I had backed away and thought I was out of the picture. I was mortified to see that I wasn't!



The pic on the right was taken this past week. Hubby pulled out his iPhone and said "smile!" I smiled.

Me 5 years ago 195lbs. Huge belly and I was getting man boobs hahaha.


That was my wake up call. I have been exercising ever since. This was me at 230 lbs(no typo).
