Skinny at about age 19:
Chubby at age 23 (gained a lot of weight after my GF had our son):
Got my **** together and lost the weight using mainly MFP (age 26):
Now I am working on gaining more muscle. Using MFP for that too.

Any advice would be great

Sure. I write about my progress here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/1c21tv/updated_progress_chubby_dadmode_to_relatively/
The short version is:
-Did crossfit/messed around a lot in the gym from age 14-20. Got decently strong but with no dietary control I gained a nice bit of fat and had sub-optimal muscle gains.
-Has a kid and got a job with tonnes of overtime and working on a professional degree at age 22. Slacked off, kept eating like crap, got chubby.
-Saw that image of myself in the goggles, wished for better fitness and decided to do something about it.
-First did 5/3/1 lifting routine, then greyskull lp. I've been doing GSLP for a while now and I think it's great.
-I lost ~20 pounds just "eating clean" without actually tracking stuff
-Started using MFP to track things, brought me to a new level of ripped
-Now I am using MFP to gain mass in a controlled manner
Definitely take a look at my thread in reddit, or ask me more questions here if you are interested.0 -
