Help Cheat Meal

Hi my pals,

I heard it's actually good for you to have one cheat meal per week.

Do you guys take cheap meals? If so how often, once or twice a week?
What kind of food do you guys take? Can I have ice cream, chips? =p

    I wouldn't go for a cheat meal "just because I can", it can still be a bad habit but if you're dining out or having a night out drinking once in a while, it isn't bad. It's all a matter of still being conscious regardless and I'd rather treat myself to a lot of small things throughout the week than just one big meal. If you crave something like ice cream then eat some, same for chips or whatever else you might like. Read the package and have maybe half a serving. In the end you'll still be satisfied and will probably feel less guilty than if you had eaten a super big meal and then had to live without allowing yourself any extras all week long.
  • Different ideas work for different people. If a cheat meal appeals to you try it! Just don't go over your goal for the day or the week.
    Only you know what would help you the most.
    I have unplanned cheat snacks or meals. It's a ok as long as I stay at or below my TDEE.

    Hi All

    I am training for my first bikini competition and I have a cheat meal once a week to keep me sane! My PT really recommends i have it so my body doesn't just get use to the same, clean food all the time.

    For my cheat meal i have anything that is GLUTEN FREE!

    So no bread or anything with gluten. Last week i made a banoffee pie, then i had Ben and Jerry's ice cream, medjool dates and some chips. it was DELICIOUS!
