    Love is more than a temporal feeling, but a choice you make daily. It is seeing more to a person than your expectations and allowing them to grow a become the person they want to be. That is true of friends, lovers, partners, and others in general.

    when temptations dont rule over you anymore because you wouldnt risk doing something that would make someone you lve leave you. when you try to make them happy. when you know what makes them mad and dont test them. when you support them even if internally you think their ideas are fantasies. when you dont disrespect eachother. when you have the same goals and values when it comes to personal stuff like kids and health etc. when you dont nag, you pick your battles. nagging is just annoying. when you literally from the pit of your stomach know that your life would be ruined if they left. when you cant live without them. and when you can go without sex for periods of time for whatever reasons but are still soulfully connected.

    awww sounds beautiful...but in reality, i wish we could simply reproduce through binary fission and avoid all the drama.

    Over the years, I have seen the word "Love" thrown around very loosely. I would never be caught using that word unless I truly meant it but nowadays it seems to have loss its meaning. So my question to you is what does "Love" mean to you?

    This is what comes to my mind when I think about "Love":

    Love is not what we see in movies. True love is sacrifice. Love is thinking about others before you think about yourself. Love is selfless, not selfish. Love is when you lay down your life to another whether for your mother, father, brother, sister or your friend. Are you willing to lay down your life for them? Love is patient, Love is kind. It doesn't envy, it doesn't boast. It isn't easily angered, it isn't self-seeking. Love doesn't delight in evil. Love rejoice with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails, love is everlasting. Love is internal, it is not proud.

    You pretty much summed it up!! I want to add loyalty to that.
