Fire salt roasted asparagus
coat asparagus with a little olive oil and season with fire salt then roast them in a 400 degree oven till they are done to your liking (roughly 20 minutes give or take)
side note, I get all my spices from www.myspicesage.com. They are reasonably priced and always fresh, unlike the stuff you get from the store. If anything give the website a look and see what kind of seasonings you could put on your asparagus and build from there.0 -
olive oil with salt and roast in oven
or put it in a quiche0 -
I like mine with a little Molly McButter0

Lightly spray asparagus with cooking spray, I use Pam
Toss on plate to get spray evenly coated, spread on baking
sheet and sprinkle reduced sodium Mccormicks season salt
garlic powder and black pepper. Or substitute the season salt
with red pepper flakes.
bake at 400 for about 20 mintes or til desired texture.0 -
I love asparagus as well. My favorite way is roasted until crispy with just a bit of sea salt. I also like it with a balsamic reduction or with some fresh shredded asiago cheese. When i feel like cheating a bit i love wrapping it in a bit of proscuitto and baking it0

I live in a huge Asparagus area, so we eat it ALL THE TIME.
Here we spice it with:
parsley
fry it with a little lavender
never forget lemon and a little sugar in the boiling water
Most people eat it with a little butter and boiled ham
I am all for trying all sorts of different herbs and spices and eventually you will find something you totally like.0 -
3 stems wrapped in a rasher of bacon and roasted in the oven for 12 minutes
lightly steamed then tossed in with a can of cooked butter beans with lemon juice and black pepper
lightly steamed, sprinkled with a little dill, sea salt flakes and a dab of butter0 -

I like to steam mine then drizzle a little dijon mustard on them.0
-
I use a little sea salt, some black pepper, and a LOT of lemon juice.0
-
Stir fried with a tad of Black Bean sauce.
This one works a treat!! And you don't need to use oil unless you really want too!! http://www.food.com/recipe/asparagus-black-bean-sauce-stir-fry-3676570 -
I like my asparagus with Lemon Pepper Mrs. Dash or dijon mustard.0
-
I saute it in a pan with a little Greek salad dressing, no additional oil needed because there's oil in the dressing already. It ends up a little garlicky, lemony, herby. yum0
-
I mix a bit of butter, crushed garlic and fresh black pepper then roast on grill or in oven.0
-
coconut oil and a tiny pinch of salt.0

We love asparagus! We drizzle olive oil on it then sprinkle Cavendar's Greek Seasoning on it. Then we grill or broil it. DELISH!0
-
Just add a dash if Himalayan Salt and Grill it! Maybe brush it with a very small amount of Olive Oil (<1tsp)= Deliciousness!!0

olive oil and garlic powder, roast in foil on the bbq, add crumbled goat cheese and balsamic glaze after pulling off the grill. You're welcome0
-
a bit of olive oil, kosher salt & pepper, roast at 400 till desired doneness, and right after you pull them out of the oven, top them with some grated parmesan cheese. the cheese melts perfectly, which of course makes it addicting.0
-
I say stick them on the grill with any spices and you get a whole different taste and texture.0
-
Roast them in a little olive oil until desired tenderness, and then add some balsamic vinegar for taste. I hate asparagus until I tried it cooked this way!0

Spanish or Hungarian pimenton (with asparagus I prefer either a hot or a bitter variety) tossed with olive oil and a bit of black pepper, then grilled or roasted. The pimenton really kicks it up a notch and is so easy.0

I agree about My Spice Sage (love their freebies), also Spicy World (which sells on Amazon), Penzeys, etc. Also, I give some hints on getting spices on my blog: http://heidicookssupper.com/blog/2009/03/06/travel-to-exotic-places-like-cincinnati-and-buy-spices/
Now, as to asparagus, consider nutmeg. A recipe came down from my great grandmother for an asparagus stew that's loaded with the stuff. Here's the recipe: http://heidicookssupper.com/blog/2009/03/29/only-for-asparagus-lovers-spargel-ragout/0 -
I like to drizzle with olive oil and fresh garlic, let marinate for an hour, throw on grill in veggie grilling pan. Turn to evenly cook and if needed spread a little more oil/garlic on them - I like to do a slow cook so they don't burn. Take of grill when ready to serve squirt a little lemon on them and enjoy.
when I was down at the Cape this spring we found this company http://www.gustareoliveoil.com I purchased the tuscan herb infused oil it is great. I use a very small amount when grilling my veggies such as onions & peppers it gives them a nice touch. I also purchased the dark chocolate infused balsamic vinegar and the pomegranate infused vinegar.0 -
I toss with a little olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. Roast in a 400 degree oven on a sheet pan for about 15 minutes, then toss with lemon zest and a little juice. A little parm sprinkled on won't hurt either. Sometimes I grill them too, then finish the same way.0

i have never ever ever been a fan of asparagus.... HOWEVER... the one way that i enjoy asparagus is lightly tossed with olive oil and sea salt, and cooked up on the grill.. that little charry taste, yum!0
-
When I roast veggies I generally use salt, fresh ground pepper, and either Penzey's Herds de Provence or Fox Point.
YUMMY STUFF! (works great on califlower too)0 -
Olive oil and lemon pepper roasted!0
-
I make mock Hollandase sauce. Light mayo, lemon, and light butter. OMG I can eat an entire lb in one sitting...
I found some salt and vingear seasoning the other day that I use for Spinach that I might try on it as well.
Love LOVE asparagus even if it makes your pee smell funny lol0
