I love buying things for the kitchen and am always looking for tools to make cooking more efficient/tastier. I can't live without my Ninja Kitchen Pulse. It has a large container for food processing, and comes with drink cups for smoothies. I use it all the time and I find it so convenient.

I'm interested in other's favorite kitchen gadgets or utensils that make your life easier/fun to use/can't live without

Kitchen digital scale and measuring cups!!

I am sad to say I have a brand new kitchen scale still in the Amazon box! I think I have been mentally unprepared to face what portions REALLY are

Digital scale, food processor (can't live without banana icecream!), egg slicer (hard-boiled eggs shredded into salad are great).

But the best thing is my thick/thin cheese slicer - cheap but does the job and means you can shave off really thin slices: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thick-Cheese-Slicer-Creates-Slices/dp/B005BSH9FU/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1371581409&sr=8-13&keywords=cheese+wire

My Kitchen Aid mixer. I've had it for probably 16 years now and it still works like new. There are tons of attachments you can get for it, so it's really multi-function. My fav attachment is the pasta roller - love me some homemade pasta!

I purchased a Victorinox Chef's Knife and although it was inexpensive I find it works pretty darn good. I would certainly put the funds in to get a higher quality piece...will have to start googling

I think I either own or have owned every kitchen gadget ever made. I rarely use any of them. As long as I have a good sharp knife I have all I need for 99% of the food I prepare.

My favorite gadget is my electric wine opener. Such a needless waste of money, but also a fun toy. The most useful gadget is my immersion blender.

I use this literally for everything that doesn't involve heating.
Smoothies, chopping vegetables and fruit, grinding herb and spices, making pestos, kneading dough, whisking and mixing.
It's got a scale built in as well, which is handy :).
