Smooth Move for Constipation?

Hi! I have lately had a lot of problems having a bowel movement. I decided that I would drink some Smooth Move Tea. I drank it this morning after steeping 15 minutes and NOTHING has happened. I took one earlier this week- maybe 4 days ago and it worked WONDERFULLY! I would really like to take some more tonight and see what happens in the morning. However, I do NOT want to become dependent on this tea seeing that it is a laxative tea. This week if I brew tonights I would have used it 3 times.
Generally speaking I am pooping decently without it, but I do get occasionally constipated.
Only kind comments/ responses, please!
What are your thoughts about taking it tonight and will I become dependent?

I honestly know nothing about the tea, but have you tried taking over the counter stool softener pills like Colace? It's technically not a laxative so I don't believe it is addictive, so if you only haveconstipation occasionally I think those might do the trick for you. They are very safe, my OB had me taking them all through my pregnancy.0

you should take colace its not a laxative and still does the job. we use it in the hospital all the time.
However you should probably investigate the cause of the constipation so that you can prevent it.
remember to drink plenty of water, eat lots of fibre, and get active.0
