I don't mind doing cardio, but after a heavy workout with weight's I don't want to be staring at the wall to get my cardio out the way, + I find it hard to enjoy cardio at the gym, but what i do enjoy is walking (before i go to gym) so would going for a 8-10 mile walk at a 3.5mph pac when i wake up give me the same results as if i was to do 20mins on the elliptical? or would walking be even better? any replies would be great guys.

Walking outside has all kinds of benefits, too many to list. Go for it!0

As long as it seriously raises your HR and you start sweating heavily, it really doesn't matter what you do or where.0

Minus the sweating heavily. It's all about the HR.0 -
cardio after weights is the BEST way to continue to burn calories through-out your day versus cardio before. Any cardio works... Outside is a must but definitely take advantage of the stairmill, incline trainers, row machine, bikes, and treadmill for sprints! Good luck!0
