      I look back on a weekend of travelling to Barnstaple, two nights in a lovely hotel and singing in Handel's "Solomon" - (assignation with The Queen of Sheba, who popped in at the beginning of Act 3) - and travelling back - and having to - absolutely HAVING TO - eat a full-English two mornings running.

      An uncommonly large community of pretty girls inhabiting Barnstaple, it seems - it was Hell killing time between rehearsal and performance - well, I'm back!!
