Do you have to use weights?

I have been working out for years now using all sorts of methods. For some reason I find lifting weights quite boring, doing the reps and sets etc. I did some 'tubulance training' a year or two ago, got the 'stubborn seven pounds' which i found quite interesting, then got onto bodyrocktv, and find doing the body weight exercises alot more interesting as I do a different session every day.
Im still doing cardio and doing a session or two of bodyweight circuits every other day as well to see how the results go.
Has anybody tried body weight stuff rather than weights? I do not want big muscles (I know you cant get them but still), I just want to get tight, stop the wobble on my butt and legs. i dont need to lose much weight if any, so really its just a case of stopping the jiggle.

I would gear more circuit workouts for you. Ifyou dont like to do weights. It keep the heart rate up you can do multi joint moves and you still get weights in and using your body weight. I have done some of her bodyrock workouts and they are good. Jillian Michaels has some good ones too. You need to use weights. To build and tone muscles. Muscles burn more calories/fat. :-) Just doing cardio will not cut it0

A friend of mine has a TRX set up that uses your own body weight and he loves it. I tried it out and i like it too. The problem is that its kinda pricey. I keep waiting for one to show up at a Play it Again Sports, but so far no luck.

I dont just do cardio, I know that isnt good enough. I always mix it, but just find the lifitng weights boring for some reason. After doing a load of circuit stuff, my muscles always feel tight and have doms the next day too, so I know that its doing something and it keeps me interest, therefore I will keep doing it.0 -
I'd always heard that Herschel Walker (former NFL player) never lifted weights and he's totally ripped to this day. You may want to search his workout routine.I don't remember exactly what he does, and I'm sure it's brutal and not for me or you but, you may be able to get some ideas from it and modify it or something0

I know that many years ago I did a learn to run program that was a walk/run type setup. I never did weights but did do situps and bench drops at home. I lost a tonne of weight and was toned. I know that if you can run/jog at all it just melts the weight right off. I lost 20lb in about 10 weeks and ate everything! I also could do a 10k at the end. Since then I've hurt my back and done very little in the past 5 years. Now I can't run at all so I'm walking alot. It's going to take longer but I feel that I'll still get to lose the weight I want eventually and tone up.0
