I'm relatively new here and completely ready to change my life. I've been reading your stories and posts and I must say that all of your successes have helped to keep me inspired. I can't wait to post my own before and after photos...
But, on to my victory for the week...
I'm a mildly active mom, but never had the drive to exercise. I've started exercise programs in the past, but never anything I followed through with...
I've been with MFP for just shy of 2 weeks now. But my victory for the week is that I walked at least 2 miles every day this week! I love the way I feel when I get back and feel as if I accomplished something! I'm hoping to continue this course as the weeks wear on and school starts...
Thanks everyone, for posting your own success stories!

My bf and I go walking every morning at5 am and walk for an hour. It is a great feeling to be home at 6 am and know that the exercise for the day is done. I love the way I feel after I exercise. Congrats on starting a walking routine.0

Awesome job! It's all about fortitude! Plus, do it long enough, and you'll start LOVING those walks. There might be a period of time here soon where you think, "Do I have to?" (at least, there was for me!) but once you break through that you're golden!0

Good job - way to stay motivated. I just joined, but haven't started working out yet - decided to focus on my eating for a few days before I add in too much.....but I'm a work in progress:ohwell:0

Thanks everyone...I hope to continue this progress. The hour or so I'm away is a nice respite from the doldrums of child-rearing!
At some point I'd like to start jogging, but I'm still a little self-conscious about running in public...0 -

I've actually heard that walking is better for you than jogging. I've heard walking burns just as many calories, but is much easier on your joints!!0
