You know you've been working out hard when...

The three steps up to your house are too much, so you just sit down on them instead.

You start stirring your greek yogurt and start counting reps as the spoon goes around...then realize you don't have the strength to finish the second set.

You need a spotter to pour the milk into your cereal.

Just the thought of shaking your protein shake makes your arms tired, so you just roll the shaker around on your desk and deal with the clumps.

You "go for the burn" when peeling a banana.

Welcome!

You can barely lift up your arms to wash your hair in the shower.

When you glare at anyone that asks you for something that includes you moving.

You get out of your truck after a spin class and your legs have turned to jelly on the drive home.
  • When you can't really lift your arms to do your hair or put on deoderant. You just kinda lean your head over, give it a quick brush, and do a very fast ponytail. And the deoderant you create just enough of a gap to slip it in your pit and wiggle it around a bit.

And for lower body, when I am so sore it hurts to operate my clutch.

    Or is that just me?

You go to run across the street instead of going to the crosswalk and in the first two steps you find yourself nearly duck-walking because your legs gave out.

You get crazy muscles shakes and feel like a spaz. Freakin' love it.

You feel like you're gunna puke your guts out. I always get nauseous after a hard workout. I don't understand how people get ravenous after the gym at all. I'm always unable to eat a solid few hours after I hit the gym hard.

You're first day of c25k left you unable to drive home because you felt like jelly so you just kept walking in circles around your car for about 15 min.

Oh good, I'm not the only one that can't bear the thought of eating right after a good workout. My co-workers and friends think it's unusual.

    wow for me it's different.

it's like: when I look at a rock wall and know I can climb it.

When I look at a chin up bar and know I can pump some out right here in this tight little mini dress....

When I get excited about helping my friends move because all that extra lifting!

When I catch myself absentmindedly flexing to feel my muscles when I'm out to dinner with my friends.

(a day after a particularly strenuous leg workout)

You can neither sit down nor stand up without assistance.

When you want to have a go at everyone working in your gym that they dared to put the changing rooms on the 1st floor.

When you consider whether you really have to go to the toilet right now or you can wait another 3-4 hours.

When you start cursing the guy who had the stupid idea to put water into a very big and heavy bottle.

When you consider just throwing your gym bag in the bin cause you don't see how you will be able to carry this monstrous thing back home.

When you're all set to scold the cats* for peeing on your bed, until you realize the wet spot is from your own sweaty *kitten* where you sat down to take off your shoes.

    *as if that would help.

...when your legs seize up after a short while of sitting down and getting off your chair is difficult!...could it be that two days of intensive workouts have left their mark! ...I love that my muscles are just melting that fat away :) just wondering right now how I'll make it through tomorrows workout lol!

    ^All of this!

Except I can't do an unassisted chin up yet. I know I'll get there though.
