Hello! I just joined today, and I think this may be the motivation boost and organizer I've needed for a while. I am nearing my eighteenth birthday, and Ive always been bigger than most girls my age. Its been a struggle and an emotional rollercoaster all of my life. I start college on the first of September, and I want to incorporate physical wllness into my life as well as mental when school starts up. My first mini-goal is to lose 15lbs by my birthday (October 14th), and I plan on rewarding myself with a nice dress to go out in if I reach that. (: Hope all is well with everyone, and I'm curious if anyone has any tips on how they've been successful?

Welcome to MFP! That's a great goal, but even if you don't quite make it, 15 pounds in a month is a lot to shoot for, getting the fitness thing going will be the real prize. Work out, eat well, and you will be there in no time.0

Welcome, I'm pretty new too, I think this food/exercise journal is verry usefull and it's really good to have other people support when trying to lose weight...
