So I work in a school with kids fom pre-k to 8th grade.

Well my daughter told me today that when I walked into the gym for the awards ceremony a bunch of kids commented to her how good I looked and asked her how much weight I had lost.

It only took 75 lbs but they noticed today lol. The adults have noticed for awhile but this is th first time that I know of that the kids have commented. It was nice cause lets face it 6th and 7th graders don't notice much about adults lol.

Good for you! 6th and 7th grade kids noticing AND saying something kind? That's a nice acknowledgement!

I teach 3 and 4 year olds. They just keep telling me that my tummy is big and my tushy is squishy. :-(

I teach 6th grade, so I totally hear you. I've still got a ways to go, but teaching kids this age really makes me wonder what they're saying about me when my back is turned as I write on the board. I'm totally paranoid by it. My 11 year old daughter compliments my weight loss, but if a student mentioned it I would know I'm doing something right! Go you!

Yah I was surprised when she told me, and it wasn't even some of the ones who I know like me, it was at least one that I know does not like me lol. :noway:
