Way to many according to my tracker. My diet is currently 80% Carbs. Wow! I had no idea. Time to modify.0

~10%
You aren't going to get any sort of consensus. It's much more likely you'll see a fight about how many carbs people should be eating, according to other people.0 -
Depends... right now, ~125g per day. Generally, closer to 180. Sometimes as high as 300.0

I strive for ↓ 30%. Some days I get as low as 80, others 120. I did try
to eat under 70 and failed badly. Now I just try to cycle between
the numbers I mentioned. I do lose better when eating far less carbs
but I'm IR, so there's that.0 -
I try and get between 50g - 150g...mostly around the 100g mark.0

My ticker says 294 but very rarely do I exceed that, especially when I'm eating more protein for the day. Have tried lowering the carbs and it makes me cranky and miserable so I leave it.0
-
Weekdays I aim for under 100. Weekends, I just try to keep it under the MFP recommendation.0
-
At least 200g/day. I try to run/cycle 5-6 days per week, and 2-3 of those days are doubles. All the carbs still fit within my ~2K/day calorie goal. I eat lots of naked whole grain pasta, Flat-Outs, bagel thins, Goldfish crackers, donut holes, and Special K Protein cereal. When I'm loading for a marathon or similar event, I'll up the carbs to about 450-500 (harder than it sounds) to the point where I am bursting at the seams with energy the next day. Carbs aren't bad unless you're a diabetic - otherwise, IIFYM0

I try to keep my carbs as low as I can, but . . .
I have oatmeal in the morning. I eat two different fruits a day. Almost every day I eat a carrot, raw broccoli, cauliflower, beans, etc. I eat no sugary sweets, and very little bread, crackers, chips, etc. About two days a week I eat potatoes to up my potassium.
Yet I hoover about 50-60% carbs. I would rather it was closer to 40%0 -
190 carbs per day on my cut (1900 cals)0

Usually between 200-230 grams per day...more if I have a long run or spend several hours landscaping the yard. I workout pretty hard and sometimes don't feel like my 200-230 is enough...0

Lots of fruit and vegetables carbs! No processed carbs.0

How many carbs do YOU eat per day?
rest days ~100, workout days ~300+0 -
I try for below 100g.0

Depends what I'm doing that day - highest number I've seen is 674g but that was to fuel a very long cycle ride.0

500

20 or less, or 5% of my calories if I don't exercise.0

I can hoover carbs like nobody's business! :laugh:0 -
<5% of my intake is carbs. I range from 15g-25g a day. Having such a low ceiling for carbs makes it really easy to deny food when offered or attending social feedings.0

My diary is open.0

40% carbs (250g)0
-
25g or less0
-
Varies, I've had a 100g day this week and a 250g, as long as my day has a decent amount of protein and a decent energy gap in it I'm good.0
-
Roughly about 150-180g

true story... i usually am around 40% when bulking and %30 when cutting... this is only if im in a heavy lifting phase... cardio phases in at 40%.0 -
Still playing with the totals for weight loss. The Dr. said to stay under 100, this week I am trying to stay around 50, and will see how it goes. I am diabetic so the carbs are a major factor for me.0

Some really low carb values getting put on here. Low carb dieting is a complete myth.0

Yep this has been about ideal for me. However know I work out 5 times a week for at least an hour to an hour half every day...days I don't work out I keep my carbs at about 75.
If I eat less carbs I feel weak and if I eat more I feel sugar doped...and unable to work out well.
No one overweight needs a lot of carbs...the energy is sitting on your body, use it, that is my belief. Also regardless of the carb addicts here who say eat all you want it is no big deal, if you are seriously over weight and you do excessive junk carbs you are on your way to metabolic resistance (pre-diabetes and type 2), just about every doctor out there will confirm this and tell you to reduce your carbs.0 -
That's a really good macro split. :-)0
