I'm 5'2' and used to weigh 180. I'm 138 now and measurements are 36, 28, 44. (44...I know... o.o but that's what the bridesmaid dress lady said). I wear a size 8 pants.

Wow you look amazing. It's funny how people carry weight differently. I am 5' 2" currently Around 116llbs but don't look anywhere near as good as you! You legs are so slim my are short fat and stumpy!!0 -

Thx! I need to tone my legs too but the tan I had in that pic helped to cover the work I need to do on my thighs. I would love to be around your weight but hoping to get to at least 125lbs this year. I've always carried the weight more in my butt/hips/thighs, you can see in the pic my thighs at the top almost touch. More squats everyone says..ugh!0 -

I am 5' 1/2 and I currently weigh 107lbs. I started out at 182lbs. It took a little more than a year to lose the weight. I am quite happy where I am at and have been maintaining since October 15th. I stuck to my calorie allotment religiously, ate some of my exercise calories but never all. I worked out with intensity and I still do. Also I eat the same way I did when I was losing weight. I call it sustainable eating. I look at it as a life long journey. I worked too hard to get the weight off and I love wearing fitted clothes again.Hi ladies,
I am 4'11, some days 5'0 when I'm over confident and I weight 208 pounds. According to my height and weight I am morbidly obese and should weight between 115 and 125 lbs. the last time that I was 130, I was 20 and it was right before I became pregnant with my son. I am 30 now. I would like to lose around 80 pounds or at least be in a size 8, I see and hear weight loss stories of women who lose 50 pounds or more but they are all 5'5 and up. 200 pounds on a five foot tall woman looks COMPLETELY different on a woman who is 5'7..and so does the weight loss. Here are my measurements as of last sat, waist: 43, hips: 50.5 and legs: 27.5 I would love to hear from you ladies who are my height or close to it who are going on this journey of weight loss OR have a success story to share. If you have pics and measurements that you feel comfortable sharing thats great! I really need the motivation and to know that I am not alone. If you are this height, what are/were your goals? I'm a bit taller at 5'3", but I started at 179lbs, looking like I could be rolled down the sidewalk, and now I'm down 40lbs and I feel great. I still have 15 or 20 to lose, depending on how I look. I mainly want to be stronger and look healthy, not emaciated. Oh and I'm 51 years old.0

I'm 4ft 10.
the heaviest i ever was was 154lb and that was bad enough for me
my mum is 4'11 and struggles greatly with her weight. She's in the 200lb mark
weirdly though she carries her weight well and in proportion and dresses accordingly
but as she's getting old the weight is starting to cause more problems
mainly on her legs and knees
if anything she needs to just get a lot of this weight off just for that but she's being realist and just wants to get down to about 12st for now (168lb i think that is)
which is still over weight but a lot better than where she's at right now
set yourself small realistic goals and then take it from there once you reach it0 -
I am 25 years old and somewhere between 5'1' and 5'2'.
My highest weight as of 2 weeks ago was 300lbs.
And I'm now down to 293.
The ultimate goal is 140-150 but I'm shooting for 197 right now as a first BIG goal.0 -

Fellow shorties! My people! I am only 5' 2" myself.
I am embarrassed to say that I started this journey at a whopping 296lbs. I am now down to 273lbs with well over 100 more to go. My goal weight is 150lbs as of right now, but we'll see how far I can get.

It's weird to be one of the "tall" ones at 5'2"!;) I started mfp in mid-December at 161 and am currently at 144. My first goal is to get back down to 136 (top end of my healthy range), but then my ultimate goal is somewhere between 128-132. I basically just want to be at a weight I can maintain easily, that's in the healthy range, and as light as I can be to help my running! I've struggled with my weight since college. I started college at about 128 pounds, and after 5 years in school and 1 year of working after, I was 192. I lost all the weight and got down to 122 with weight watchers. I then used weight watchers several years later to lose baby #1 weight, and again to lose baby #2 weight. Since baby #2 was born 3.5 years ago, I've fluctuated between 142-170. I'm loving mfp and determined to get down to goal and stay there! No more babies, so no reason to see anything about 136 ever again! I'm training for spring half marathons (running 4 half marathons this spring, have run 4 other over the last few years) and start training for my first full marathon at the end of May, so I want to be at goal weight when training starts!0

I'm 4'9. My starting weight was 152 so far I have lost about 4 lbs. My goal weight is between 101 - 105. I'm also considered obesed for my height and I can tell how my body struggles at this weight size. I am so looking forward to shedding these 50 pounds. I think it's cool that there are so many of us "petite" women in the same boat!!!! Please add me if you're intrested.0

I'm 5'2", currently weighing in at 175 and have an ultimate goal weight of somewhere between 125-130 (I tend to fluctuate 5 pounds, so as long as I'm between 125-130 I will consider myself at GOAL)
My problem always comes from having a large bottom and a large bust. 5 years ago when I was weighing 125 I was in a 34D (TMI maybe), and was in a size 6 pants. My bust/bottom would always make me feel HUGE and I developed an eating disorder as a result thinking that somehow it would change my body shape/type/bone structure. Ugh.
I feel your pain, lady. My advice would be to always set small goals for yourself, and don't ever give up. Stay positive, and don't beat yourself up over the little things!0 -

Yay I'm not the only one! I'm 4'10" and now 126. My ultimate goal is to be at 100-105 pounds. I started losing weight in 2010. I started at 146. It's been a slow process but I'm determined to lose 10 pounds before my 30th bday in August. Feel free to add me any shorties out there.0

5' nothin' short-*kitten* here - I started at 211, though 2 years ago I was 215 and lost 20lb with my second attempt at Weight Watchers, but the slow rate made me lose motivation and I bobbed back up I started MFP in early April and I'm 20lb down again and determined to make it to about 112 this time. I've lost 55lb before so I know I can do it, I just have to avoid losing heart. My first mini-goal is to be UK size 14 by September for my holiday0
