Help: Shooting pain inside of foot, by heel

It's been coming up for the past 5-7 days, and although I have been doing my tapout and turbofire workouts, I try to rest it as much as I can besides those times. I also put a bandage on it or sports tape to stop the pai when I workout. I've noticed it mostly hurts when I do jumping (mostly high knees), and when I put all my weight on it, and jump.
Help?

I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, but I bought heel cups to lessen the shock to my heels. It was getting painful after a lot of jumping.0

I've had a similar problem. Try taking a golf ball or a tennis ball (which ever feels better at the time, but its suppose to be a golf ball) and roll your foot over it. The ball helps to strech the foot and massage it.0

yeah that sounds like plantar fasciitis. its common in athletes and people that do high impact work outs. they make insoles for it that are cheap and effective.0

Time. Unfortunately, time is your friend. I've gotten it from running, and had to lay off for about 3 weeks to get in under control.
Not to share a horror story, but my buddy is a marathon runner, tennis player, and GREAT surfer. He got it recently, kept training through it, and tore a tendon. Now he's playing tennis in a cast, wondering when he'll be back to 100%.
Its much like tendinitis. Well, I guess it is tendinitis in your foot. It will likely take at least 2 weeks of rest to get back. At least that's my experience.0 -
