Hello there,

This site is just amazing! I am a nurse, and also own my own Computer Repair business. I was insanely involved with photography for many years as a hobby. I joined the local club, and won many awards, and was lucky enough to be published a couple of times. Then, I lost the passion, and I have not touched my camera for over a year. I had a member on this site see a post I made, and has inspired me to get out and do some shooting. I am starting this thread to have other creative people post and inspire others to do the same.

Please feel free to post 2 or 3 of your favourite items for all to see. Also feel free to post commenst to encourage others!

    Some photos my husband uploaded to his flickr account, he and I both take photos when we're out and about but these are my shots from two weeks ago. Hard to believe there is so much beauty on my doorstep :D

    I'm a painter but I also love photography!! I'm particularly into weather photography!! Lightning is by far my favourite subject! Here's a sample of some lightning shots I took in April this year and January last year respectively!

    I love this one because the effect was sort of accidental! My focus was initially on the pylons, but then I realised when I uploaded it onto the PC that the storm in the distance also created it own effect!!

    To the OP - I lost my mojo for a few years but found it again quite recently after losing a lot of weight and hauling myself out of my pit of depression. I've recently started exploring abandoned sites (urbex) - which I was never brave enough for previously. I have had a new lease of life since dropping weight and it's great!
