    This is more than just machine preference. Sometimes you want to be close to other people but not talk to them. Not saying they were hitting on you, but I think they wanted to be near you for whatever reason.

    Are you serious? Sorry, I know I'm being *****y here but some of us happen to become attached to certain machines as they might have been maintained better. It might be because you're hot to look at it but it could also just mean they are attached to their machines. Next time try flirting and whola...you will know.

    It probably means nothing. I get on the machines next to guys and I'm not paying them any attention. I know as women we can be really confusing but for the most part we don't notice guys unless they're really hot. I try hard not to give eye contact to guys in the gym because I don't want to give them any ideas because for some reason guys are sensitive thinking girls are giving them signals to talk to them when we're really not lol
