I don't have cable, but probably wouldn't watch it anyway. Me and heights...:noway:
He's from a family of high wire walkers, and I read somewhere that 7 of his family members have died from falls. Double :noway: :noway:0 -
I'm watching. Craziness, in my book, but I know lots of people who do things that could kill them at any time. He's just doing something that MOST of us finding completely insane.
I'm wondering if the cameras will follow him down, if he falls?0 -
Makes me feel sick thinking about it, hope it all goes well though0
-
this guy is totally crazy but what an amazing feeling it will be when all his training pays off and he accomplishes it0

I'm hoping that that doesn't happen, but should he fall, I hope they have the decency to cut off to commercial.0 -
I wish they'd get on with it already. I got papers to grade. XD0

The Wallenda's have always been dare devils. He lives in my hometown in FL, so I have followed him for a long time. His great grandfather fell to his death on TV. I have no idea why they love to test fate like they do.......but I pray tonight will once again be successful. There is so much preparation for this all the way around.0

I don't get the Discovery Channel and couldn't watch it even if I did. I'm like the OP and even worse, I have vertigo just THINKING about it. Praying for a successful adventure but totally nuts!0

if humans didnt push themselves to crazy heights we'd be a boring species.0

I keep flipping back and forth between channels... I just want to see him walk it, but it's taking forever0

I would imagine they have some sort of time delay, so yeah if the feed suddenly goes black or suddenly cuts to a commercial, then you can assume something didn't go right. For his kids sake, I hope he does it successfully. I can only imagine the stress they must be going through0 -
In jeans???!?!??!?!?!0

Maybe they should have taken bets on how often he says "thank you Jesus" or "Oh Lord"
PS That camera that goes around in circle can stop.0 -

Here's the real question - since MFP doesn't have 'tight rope walking over a gorge' in its exercise catalog, how should he log this?0

Can't find it on MFP exercise search
Thank God could you imagine all the people who would try that as their exercise?0 -
