Motivation and help

I just started my fitness pal after my yearly physical Diabetes and hypertension onsets... I am 5ft and currently weigh as of this morning 145.1 LBS down from 151 (june 3) I am breastfeeding my seven month old and on a calorie diet of 1300.... Pounds go to 144 and then shoots back up again to 145!! Am getting depressed as weight lost is essential for me to have a healthy life...HELP AND MOTIVATION NEEDED

    Hi, I'm here to provide support and motivation. I notice you are said your breast feeding and your caloric intake is 1300. When you're breast-feeding you should consume approximately 500 calories above your pre-pregnancy diet each day. This may be the reason your weight is fluctuating and your not seeing the weight loss as quick as you would like, because your body is trying to compensate for the calorie deficit. Try increasing your calorie intake to 1700 and see what happens. Good luck and stay positive!
