    I know what you mean entirely by dodging all occasions where you would be in a bikini.. i did the exact same thing and avoid all situations where i had to take my shirt off.

    now i can finally take it off and not feel totally ashamed! great feeling and congrats! :)

    I also use running as one means to lose weight. My longest so far is a half-marathon (and now inumerable 5k and 10ks) my toughest race? A 4 mile spartan - I did a 13 mile mudder in almost the same time as the Spartan.

    Thank you! I fell in love with running, the losing weight is an awesome perk of it! I'm looking forward to my half in September. I would LOVE to do a Spartan race one day.
