Saying it took blood, sweat and tears to go from the 330lb woman I was in the photo to the 220lb self I see today would be an understatement. I had been obese from childhood and morbidly obese as an adult (360lbs at my heaviest) and after the birth of my first son I decided to get healthy so I could be around to watch him grow, and ensure he learned healthy habits so he would have to endure the hardship I had. I have lost over 140lbs and 65in!

I love going on walks with my family, Zumba, Tae Bo, swimming and lifting. I still have 70 pounds to reach my goal, but with the eternal support from my husband, family, friends and MyFitnessPal community, I WILL meet that goal, and exceed it. Just because being obese is all you've known doesn't mean it's all you'll ever know, make the first step today!

    I feel great! Little things like going down the slide or swinging with my son are a big deal! I can be a better mother, wife and self now
