I just bought some pea protein powder from Nutrasumma at Sprout's. My Mom is allergic to milk and I thought, hey, we could all get our protein and not have to buy two kinds-whey and milk free. DON'T BUY IT!!! You open the container and the smell alone is atrocious. I blended it with strawberries, blueberries and almond milk. After a tiny taste, I added half a banana. NOTHING worked to mask that taste. I am so glad Sprout's will exchange it. Now I still need to find a good milk free, low carb, vanilla (I have gotten hooked on that one) protein drink! HELP!

I like it with coconut milk personally0 -
Try Spirutein. It is milk and animal free, high in protein, and I think it tastes great. It may be organic too. I don't know if it is low enough in carbs for you though. It's worth a try. I made the vanilla chocolate by adding cocoa powder and extra stevia to give it extra sweetness.0
