You can, as long as you structure your diet to support the excersize.0

You definitely can. I did. I've been steadily losing by lifting and eating at a deficit with the only cardio being a ten minute warm up before I lift. I would start now if I were you.0

Let most people have said already, yes you can and you should have started yesterday. You may not be able to build huge amounts of muscle, but you will be able to increase your strength and preserve your LBM for when you get to your goal weight0

Yes, do it. I've been losing weight regularly along with lifting. It's been slow, but I have very little to lose so I'm fine with that! Besides I'd like to maintain as much LBM as possible.0

You wont loose pounds! You will deffinatly get in to shape! if you want to start lifting heavy then ditch the scales!0
