How do I raise Metabolism?

I have been stuck and have plateaued for over a month now. I have increased my cardio some, backed off a bit on calories (maybe too much on that). I have always had a very low metabolism, how do I raise it? Just want to get these last 20 lbs. off and just maintain. Any suggestions?

If your metabolism is low, the worst thing you can do for it is eat less and exercise more. The opposite would probably be best. Take some time off of dieting and eat a maintenance.
Here is a great topic by someone who increased hers (it was acually measured)

Unfortuanly there is no way to increase it permantly, have to tried to incorperate some lifting into your work out, you may have go the point where your body is use to your trainging routine and just needs to be changed up abit.0
