Racism Survey.... Would you:

1) Date/Marry someone of a different colour?
2) Adopt a child of a different colour?
3) Allow your child to date/marry someone of a different colour?
4) Accept a vital organ transplant/allow a family member to do so if that organ belonged to someone of a different colour?

I ask these questions, because they came up in a conversation with my (now-ex) BF, and I was completely SHOCKED at his answers.

For me: it's a "yes" to all 4. I really don't care if you're black, white, red, yellow, or blue. Unless you're blue because you're choking. Then I'd probably help you.

"Colour" is actually in the American dictionary too. It's not as widely used, but still acceptable.

Oh, and yes to all four!

    Yes to all 4.
Then again, I I doubt many people would post here with "no".

Yes to all the questions!! A human being is a human being! It's bloody ridiculous that colour is such an issue for so many people!! And I'm very familiar with that kind of situation! After all, I do live in South Africa, lol!!

    1) Date/Marry someone of a different colour? Yes, it's about personality, not color.
    2) Adopt a child of a different colour? Absolutely (if I were looking into acquiring more kids, which I am not)
    3) Allow your child to date/marry someone of a different colour? Yes
    4) Accept a vital organ transplant/allow a family member to do so if that organ belonged to someone of a different colour? Yes.

I'm really not sure why any of these would be issues for anyone.

    2) I don't think I would ever adopt
    3) Of course
    4) Yes. As long as it's a match and functions correctly why wouldn't you.

    2) No, I already have two kids and they're killin' me....
    3) Yeah, sure...whatevs

    1) Date/Marry someone of a different colour? Race, color or religion never was a factor when I dated. My wife is caucasian.

    2) Adopt a child of a different colour? Wouldn't adopt a child unless it was because of a tragedy and a child I already knew needed a home.

    3) Allow your child to date/marry someone of a different colour? I would rather they didn't, but it's not my choice. I would support any choice they made, but would rather not see them have to deal with the stupidity of others that inevitably have to pass judgement.

    4) Accept a vital organ transplant/allow a family member to do so if that organ belonged to someone of a different colour? Of course.

    1. I am already married, so that's a moot point
    2. Yes, if I were younger. I really don't want to start over raising babies at my age!
    3. He can date or marry whoever he wants. I just want him happy.
    4. Of course.

Yes. And double yes to #4, because that might help to improve my awkward Z-snap.
