Weird question but lately i've been drinking water more than i used to compared from few months back. I used to jog and walk for 1 hour but now i can barely last 45mins of jogging because of my urge to pee. What should i do?

    Welcome to the club!

Try not to drink anything in the hour or so leading up to your run and, if you carry water on your run, take tiny sips. It sounds like you may be drinking more than you really need to - trust your thirst.

I'm the same way if I go for a long walk. I cut down on water beforehand, go to the bathroom just as I'm about to walk out the door and then drink my water when I get back.

My mother in law has a spot at a local park where we sometimes walk (when she visits) where she goes. A clump of trees up in the corner! I just shake my head and keep walking.

Have you tried going in the morning right after waking up (and taking care of business) ? It's what works for me

Question: How Do I Avoid Having to Stop to Urinate During a Long Run?
During my long runs, I frequently have to stop to urinate. Is it possible to not have to stop to urinate during a long run or marathon?
Answer: Yes, it is possible. If you find yourself stopping to pee during your long runs, you're most likely drinking too much prior to your run. You should drink 16 to 24oz of (non-caffeinated) fluid 1 hour before your workout or race. Stop drinking after that, and keep emptying your bladder. Drink another 4 to 8oz of fluid about 10 minutes before you start running, so that you're hydrated when you begin. To replace fluids while running, you should be drinking about 6 to 8 ounces of fluids every 20 minutes. If you hydrate properly like this, you shouldn't have to stop to pee.

Sometimes this happens to me also, except I'm usually about 15 mins into my run. I always make sure I squeeze every last bit of pee out of me before I set off. I think it's psychological (with me anyway). I found if I focused on that urge, it just became more heightened. Try and focus on something other than your bladder. Thank yourself lucky you've not had the urge to do the other, it's my greatest fear and what puts me off entering for a 10K event.

I was on a long run this morning, and was thinking about the number two question. Any time I run more than about four miles, my body apparently thinks my lower intestines need evacuated. Any tips on that?
