question.

I've noticed that I really don't enjoy eating anymore, it's becoming sort of a task. Is this a good thing ?

Considering many people can't stop themselves from eating sometimes, yes.

HOWEVER... I can see where it wouldn't be a good thing if it being a "task" means its turned into an aversion from food in general (i.e. eating disorder... where you are afraid to eat because you don't want to gain, etc.). Not saying thats happening here... but something to think about and look out for.

Not sure it is a good thing. Even healthy food can be fun to eat and fun to plan. I would worry if it goes too long, but if it is only for a bit then I wouldn't worry too much.

I encountered a version of this around the time when I reached my halfway point. I had cut everything I perceived as "bad" and I was eating the same foods every day because I knew they were "safe". It was at this point that I gradually started adding the foods I enjoyed back, and ate them in moderation. It has been smooth sailing from there and I have been a lot happier, too!

I kind of have those days. It's more the fact of putting so much effort into thinking about what I'm going to put in my mouth more than anything.

I find I do if I do not have my meals pre planned. I HATE thinking of what to make and eat. I need to be better prepared.
