In 3 years, I will have matched one criterion.

"A new poll claims to reveal the perfect man: He's a 40-year-old, successful moderate drinking doctor who looks like Patrick Dempsey."

I was thinking this was about qualities he could still be a successful 40 year old doctor who cheats on his wife and kicks the dog

Not my perfect man. My perfect man is 30, middle class, and tall, with Mr Clean head and a goofy sense of humor. (Yes, I describe my husband. lol)

Oh and I forgot nerdy. lol

I'm a 44 year old moderately successful educator/technologist who, who loves drinking in moderation (and to excess at times), and looks like...welll....me.

    So close, methinks.

ummm ....No! over 40, mildly successful, I watch Doctor Who, drinks a lot (at least 80 oz of water a day) and looks more like Patrick Henry of "give me liberty or give me death" fame

  • I once was 40, I know a couple of doctors, and I've seen Patrick Dempsey's work. So yea, I guess that just about qualifies me, right?

I had to "google" Step By Step. I'm old and Patrick Duffy is from Dallas fame.

lol, half the women that said that was their perfect man are probably single and have been for a long time. If you base your perfect man on what he looks like and how frequently he drinks, there are much bigger issues to address. There is no such thing as the perfect man, or the perfect woman for that matter. Just gotta hope you end up with someone that makes you overlook all their flaws.
