HOW LONG TIL U SEE RESULTS AND NOT SO MUCH PAIN :)

hi all...
so heres my plan i started the gym yesterday with my sister (whos a pro at it) anyway 2 sessions on my legs feel like lead weights they are so painfull im cursing every stair i take lol.. now i no the no pain no gain rule but is this how im going to feel everytime or will i get better with time?? i didnt realise i was so unfit tbh as i take my dog walking regular but obviously not regular enough haha... also how long before il start seeing results?? iv lost 19 pounds so far and i have a lot of weight around my middle and top thighs the rest is not to bad.. i have really enjoyed my gym sessions this week and i am planning on going 3 times a week.
any advice for a beginner be great :D

    I was on here 2 years ago with success, well, I am back, and it is taking a little longer then before.
    I am in the gym 4 x/week, trying to stay under my calorie intake.
    I think alot of people want QUICK results, but something that someone told me, you did not gain the weight in 3- 6 weeks, so do be patient, stick with it, do not give up !! Good luck, stay strong !! It will be worth it !!

    It may be a few weeks. The pain is less intense after a few times but you will feel some pain every time if you're challenging yourself to do more as you get stronger. You will start feeling results fairly quickly in terms of strength and being able to feel firmer but depending on how much weight you have to lose you may not feel like you "see" results right away.

    Keep going. Take pictures along the way so you can see the results after 1 month, 2 months, etc. I've been going to the gym consistently 5 days a week since the beginning of April and I'm definitely seeing great results.

    thanks all i no it wont be over night just wondered.. as for my legs !!! ouch is all i can say wish i had an elevator in my house :D:D

    To be honest, there's a chance YOU may not even notice it. The change happens slowly and since you see yourself it the mirror everyday, you may not see it. That's why taking measurements to track your progress is so important. THAT'S where the results that you might not see really show themselves. Just remind yourself that the pain you feel means you are on your way. And take an epsom salt bath. It helps sore muscles so much. I've also found taking turmeric supplements (which are not only amazing for you in general but also have great anti-inflammatory and slight pain relief properties) really help me after a long and intense workout session.

    It takes month or two to see the results. My humble opinion is that you have to work every day or 5-6 times a week to see results. 30 minutes per day is enough.
