Core/Balance exercises?

My core and balance is probably my weakest areas, are there any exercises that I can easily fit into my day to strengthen these?

    What is your current fitness program? Are you currently doing any strength-training/resistance-training?

    I don't know your current level of fitness, but P90X2 works core and balance non-stop.

    planks (normal and advanced); military presses; squat lunges; hopping. All pretty simple exercises but pretty effective for stabilising the core and developing balance.

    Do you have a wii fit? there's some great balance exercises and games on there (trickier than you might think!)

    Doing compound lifts will definitely help your core, which will help your balance. Yoga is great for balance. Planks, all variations, will also help strengthen your core.

    Planks of all varieties will strengthen you. Squats, lunges, pushups, military sit ups. Yoga is a great way to start!
