I am challenging myself to do the Junk free july challenge! Anyone willing to join?
I am looking to loose a little fat and build some muscle, i seem to be stuck with it, so i though this would maybe help. Feel free to add me if you are wanting to join me

If it's junk, I throw it in the trash. It never helped me loosen my weight any.0

What do you mean by "junk"?0

No chocolate, Crisps, or bad food of any sort, just eating as healthy as you possibly can, i normaly allow myself one bar of chocolate a week a cheat meal and a dessert, myself and a few instagram and MFP followers are trying this out to see if "no junk food" will make any difference0

Well you're either gonna "cut" or "build". Kinda tough to do both at the same time even if training, nutrition and rest were spot on.

Chocolate is not bad for you per se. On the contrary, dark chocolate is very good for you in moderation.
I won't be joining you in this. I think 'junk' is a massively important part of anyone's diet, kept to a minimum. It's fun, provides variety and isn't bad for you as long as it's within your calorie limit. And most importantly, it voids deprivation, the key factor that leads to diet failure.0

I'm going to have to pass. Every time I join some challenge like this I end up eating more of whatever it is than I normally would. Not through cravings or binges, it just seems to work out that way. Someone will have a party or a birthday or something.
 But good luck to you!0

Yeah i know that, as you gain muscle your body burns more calories which leads to fat loss, i am aiming to lower my body fat %0

I don't like dark chocolate this is why i am cutting it out, i have lost 3st and jept it off by just sticking to my calorie goal and having treats, i am just trying something new0
