The scale is not the only thing that matters!!

I want to share my story because I know just how difficult it is to step on the scale and see the numbers NOT changing. I have weighed the EXACT SAME since November!!!! I know all about the crying and frustration this causes when you are busting your behind!!!! I have had many breakdowns but never have thrown in the towel.
I wanted to post something to inspire all those that are going thru the same thing! I have been doing an AB challenge for 30 days and keep in mind NO SCALE CHANGE and I think my results are amazing!!!! It’s not always about pound! Always remember that!!!!!

Thank you for sharing, because I get frustrate sometimes with the scale. I have to take pictures to compare myself (before & after pics) You look really good! Forget the scale lol0

GREAT WORK! The scale lies, your picture is proof. You look awesome.0

You are proof that the scale is probably the last thing to count when exercising and eating right. You look great. Keep up the great work.0

The scale does not tell the story as you have proved! Great work!0

Fantastic results! Looking great is more important for sure!:flowerforyou:0

Thank you for sharing. I have trouble not focusing on the numbers on the scale. Your photos are proof that other things do matter. Amazing job!0

Wow you got some terrific results in just 30 days!!! I love progress photos, the scale really doesn't matter as much! Thanks for posting! Great job and keep it up!0
-
Thanks. I keep hoping the looseness will all go together in the end. Thanks for the pics.0

Ps. What kind of ab challenge r u doing?0
-
Great job! Definitely not about the numbers on the scale! I've said several times that if I wasn't tracking it on MFP, my scale would be in the trash!0
-
You did exceptionally well! Way to go! Unfortunately, I do not seem to be losing inches around my waist and other areas, but am slowly losing pounds. Seeing the number go down is reassuring.0

Thanks for your great post & wow, great transformation. Keep up the good work.
I'm a month in with no weight loss but have notice a change in body shape . . . so yes, I'm not getting discouraged anymore by the non-movement of the scales.
Thanks for the encouragement. Needed that today.:flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks for sharing. I forget that fact sometimes.
**Can you send me the ab challenge too, or post it.0 -

Sorry, but if you haven't lost a single pound in eight months you're doing something wrong. And despite what some people here think, if you lose weight, it is reflected on the scale and in your measurements.0

Really?! Talk about being a jerk!!! I lost 84 pounds...I think I am doing something right! Talk about turning a positive post into a negative one.0 -
bump for the challenge0

Thank you for sharing, I am stuck at 48 lbs for 3 weeks now but lost half an inch in my waist...thanks god I am not alone in that frozen scale! You can go mad from it lol0

Wow. Just, wow. I'm pretty sure the success boards are supposed to stay positive, and if you check the OP's profile she has lost weight, so...what is the issue? If you read her post you would see she said in 30 days she hasn't lost weight but saw a big difference in her stomach.
OP you are doing great! It is possible to change your shape without the scale moving. There are plenty of pics on here to prove it, let alone the ones you just posted. There's always going to someone who just has to be a toad. Ignore it and keep it up! You rock!0 -
Thank you for this reminder. I started seriously working out and eating properly for 5 weeks straight but my scale has not moved. I was so frustrated last night and ready to give up. After reading your post...I will not give up I will continue doing my hard work to reach my goals.0

Thank you!!!! This was to help people not for someone to think they KNOW EVERYTHING about weight loss. NONE of us do! It is a mind game. I BUST my butt daily so for that ignorant person to comment that I am doing something wrong KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT ME!!! Stay positive people!!!!0 -
What a great accomplishment. You should be proud. I don't do nearly enough ab work, so I think i should look up that challenge myself.0

I so needed this today! you look awesome. I have been stuck at my current weight for a few weeks now and have been busting my butt with exercise. However, everyone keeps telling me this is the month where they wee the biggest difference! My jeans are looking loose and my tops are getting to big! I put my nightgown on the other night and it literally fell of my shoulders and slid to the floor! LOL I have lost a few inches but the scale says I am the same weight. I guess that's when we should be thankful we are measuring! YOU MY FRIEND, HAVE MADE MY DAY!0
