    NEW TO THE CHALLENGE - and I want to know how you measure your distance when your walk is broken up throughout the day.

    Today - I recorded 35 min of walking (out and about at work / at appt after work / then met friends later for a movie) - I did not have my GPS watch on for tracking; I wasn't on the treadmill.... How do you capture that distance.... or do you?

    I used to be a distance runner and need motivation to get back on track. I'm going to shoot for 5 miles a day.... so that will be 155 miles. Good luck to everyone, I hope all of you smash you're goals!

    We want to keep the challenge open and simple so there aren't many rules. It's all about setting a distance target and trying to reach it, however there are a couple of things to remember:

    Always post your current total miles. Tracking becomes impossible without a total.
    We only track distance. Not minutes, not calories, nothing but miles (or kilometers)
    People who don't move at all are frowned upon. :angry:
