I just logged weight training for the first time and saw it doesn't calculate calories burned for weight exercises. Does anyone know why?

because its not possible to calculate calorie burn from weights.

make up a number and use that.

log it under strength training in cardiovascular...it is annoying but oh well.

I do this as well and use the info from my HRM for my calorie burn.

Yeah thats what i do find out how much I burn per session and just add it as cardio on MFP. MFP vastly overestimates your burn anyway so its best to take it with a pinch of salt

no point wearing a HRM. they do not work for lifting. just making up a number on the spot is just as accurate.
