I made these for lunch today and they were awesome:). I used a little bit of sesame oil instead, and I threw in just a few peanuts. My hubby even liked it:)

I have been wanting to make lettuce wraps! Thanks for the recipe. Sounds perfect. I'll use agave instead of honey becasue that's what I have on hand.

    I considered trying these, but...

...I mostly like my life as it is right now...

...and there's no guarantee the change will be favorable...

...so I'm going to have to pass on these right now.

I just can't take that chance.

I know. I'm afraid of change.

Sounds good except for the iceberg lettuce. I think butter lettuce would work better and taste better.

PS- no butter in butter lettuce.

I really like the cool crunch that the iceberg brings! But, feel free to substitute to your heart's desire.

What if I substituted dark chocolate for the lettuce, ice cream for the chicken, and crushed up cookies for all the other stuff?

I think that would work better and taste better.

    definitely will try it...

speaking of sriracha a couple of friends and i were in Atlantic City playing black jack and the topic of sriracha came up at the table. someone mentioned they called it "**** sauce" due to the ****(rooster) on the bottle. this lead to everyone yelling "**** sauce" every time someone got black jack for the rest of the night.

I don't know? If I have to go to a specialty market to find "sriracha" whatever that is, I can predict that what might happen in that parking lot might change my life. International road rage in Los Angeles is a real problem and I have very low tolerance for being yelled at in other languages. Mostly because I translate EVERY word into the F word and *kitten*.
Oh, for heaven's sake, the ethnic markets are one of the best things about L.A. Seriously, you are missing out if you don't take advantage of the prices and the introduction to all kinds of wonderful new foods. Open your horizons a little, buddy. There's more to life than Westwood.

Now THAT would be life changing!
