Lifting success for ladies

LADIES!! I would love to see your successful lifting before
And afters!! And I'd love to know what your routine was?!?
Like how many times a day and how much weight, sets, reps, ect!
Lets see those hot bods! I am currently lifting and need some motivation! Something to look
Forward to! I know all bodies are different but getting fit works the same!
Give me some motivation!!

Thank you!!!

Not really a success story thread but it has many lifting girls in it and their blogs/success thread links so you might find useful.
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/987513-lifting-is-the-most-horrible-thing-to-a-woman-since-twiggy

And while not a lady myself, I encourage you to look into stronglifts if you're just starting out and lookup as many form videos as possible :)
  • I don't have pictures But...
I lift 3-4 days a week. My progress is in how much More I can lift now. I started by using just 5 & 10lb weights and after just two weeks I can already use 25lb free weights. That may not be much to some people but for me it's huge! I did calf exercises today using 45lbs.
My husband has me on a routine, it targets different muscle groups every day of the week that I lift. It seems to be working :)

Calorie deficit for the first 6 months (3 of those seeing the scale not move at all), CrossFit for 8 months, Starting Strength for 3 months, and Wendler's 5/3/1 for 5 months. After starting CrossFit and lifting I was still eating in a deficit just not as big as before. I am 5'8 and 24 years old, working out (lifting, low reps, heavy weight) at least 3 times per week with cardio from CrossFit classes and some shorter runs.

Starting at 198lbs, 30+% body fat:

After deficit eating and about 2 months of CrossFit, 180-185lbs:

After about 8 months of CrossFit, 175-180lbs, probably 28-30% body fat:

After 3 months of Starting Strength and 2 months of Wendler's 5/3/1, 165-170lbs, closer to 25-28% body fat:

Beginning of April this year, after about 5 months of Wendler's 5/3/1, 163lbs, 25-26% body fat:

Here's a side by side in similar clothes and poses:

    Great job ladies.

I haven't spotted them today so far. Are you sure you're not talking about high horse riding lifting girls instead? Because I do see one of those here.

The difference between me and them is that I don't prance over to their threads and post self-important nonsense (not to mention lots of fake photos) about how much better I am than they are.

And the reason you haven't spotted them today is because they had their drivel deleted.

No, you just limit the self-important nonsense to lifting threads and talk about being better than them. That is much better option I'd say.

This is a thread about success via lifting weights. It is absolutely the proper venue to celebrate that. At no point in my post did I claim to be better than anyone. Nice job hijacking a thread that has nothing to do with you, though.

Shoes came from TjMaxx and the dress was like 10 or 15 bucks from a tourist shop on the Las Vegas strip. I've never worn the dress in public--- It's so short!

Oh relax. I am agreeing with you. I did made the mistake of thinking this was a thread to celebrate talking about irate cardio bunnies though. Kinda like you I guess. Its ok, we can both be a little wrong.

Maybe because it wasn't an insult.
