Starting a Challenge~~do you want to take this step with me,

Hi everyone~
Starting Monday, August 30 I want to start a challenge, and ending Sept. 30 (let's take it a month at a time). Please let me know if anyone wants to join. I've messaged another member & she is wanting to take this step with me. I tried doing this on my own, all to myself & I cant. I seem to keep failing. And I think that's the difference with Weight Watchers meeting, I would have to go in every week & my leader/receptionist will weigh me & someone gets to see if i gained or lost! That was accountability....So if we share that here, I think we can have the added support!

Here's what is expected:
Posting stats will be weight, age & height, measurements on chest, waist, abs (belly button area), hips.....
Weights & measurements be done every Monday so we can track & see & share our results for accountability....
Journaling what we eat & our exercise....
and maybe, just maybe, posting a pic of ourself so we can see before/after!

I think this will give us great motivation....

    Count me in! If I may suggest, it may be helpful to post your goal for the month. For example, it might be to lose 5 pounds or it might be to exercise for an hour 4 times per week. Post if you met your goal from the previous week. I record everything I eat and drink along with exercise and have made that public - I welcome any comments or suggestions.

    I'd love to join in with you! It's my first week on MFP so I haven't settled quite into a routine yet, this is the perfect way to keep me motivated through the first month (always my hardest!) and get me into the routine :)

    I am for the challenge sounds great. It always helps if you are accountable , You dont want others knowing you pigged out this week LOL

    my measurements are waist 46 3/4 hips 51 thighs 28 1/2 bust 51 Yuck I want to see these numbers go down down down

    I weight between 150 and 144 pounds. I originally lost 6 lbs and I am now stuck. I've been working out for a month now almost five days a week and nothing.......I increased my water to 8 cups a day. The last three days have been hard because of stress with kids going back to school. Really could use a team. I'll cheer for you....Please cheer for me.

    As of today my current weight is 148
    my goal is 135 and to hold 170 secs in a pull up position on a pull up bar.

    I am 5'4", 34 yrs old, mother of 3 boys

    weight: 164 lbs

    Goal:
    to lose 1.5 - 2 lbs per week, with a total of 6-8 lbs for the month.

    I'm in! I'll measure myself tonight and post. My goal for the month is to keep up with my counting on MFP and get off my lazy butt and exercise consistently. I've been logging for about a week now and have exercised 4 days in a row so I'm off to a good start. Good luck everyone!

    ladypersia--hmm maybe you might have to cut calories....i exercise almost 4 days a week but i know it's my eating habits that's why i wanted to start this challenge so i can jot down my eating & cutting calories....
    i cant even do 1 pull ups! lol

    but today AUGUST 30th is the start day to post stats, start fresh, etc..........every mondays will be weigh in & posting measurements, journaling thoughts, food consumption, exercising etc....

    I know a few people have been talking about putting up pictures...well tonight I'm going to take the plunge, when my dearest darling hubby gets home from work I shall have him take a picture of me (all 332 lb's of me, oh yeah!) and I'll post it up, then in one months time, 30th September, I'll post another....not sure how much of a difference it will look seeing as I have so much to loose, but if I can do it so can you guys :D

    Can't wait to see all them pictures then ;)
