    I'm in! I'll measure myself tonight and post. My goal for the month is to keep up with my counting on MFP and get off my lazy butt and exercise consistently. I've been logging for about a week now and have exercised 4 days in a row so I'm off to a good start. Good luck everyone!

    my goal for the month is to loose 7 lbs. I am 47, 5"6' weight 241
    my measurements are waist 46 3/4 hips 51 thighs 28 1/2 bust 51 Yuck I want to see these numbers go down down down

    We will do it!! We'll make our measurement #'s go down!! We'll help & support each other =)

    Count me in.

    I weight between 150 and 144 pounds. I originally lost 6 lbs and I am now stuck. I've been working out for a month now almost five days a week and nothing.......I increased my water to 8 cups a day. The last three days have been hard because of stress with kids going back to school. Really could use a team. I'll cheer for you....Please cheer for me.

    As of today my current weight is 148
    my goal is 135 and to hold 170 secs in a pull up position on a pull up bar.
    Im 42 years old

    ladypersia--hmm maybe you might have to cut calories....i exercise almost 4 days a week but i know it's my eating habits that's why i wanted to start this challenge so i can jot down my eating & cutting calories....
    i cant even do 1 pull ups! lol

    but today AUGUST 30th is the start day to post stats, start fresh, etc..........every mondays will be weigh in & posting measurements, journaling thoughts, food consumption, exercising etc....

    I know a few people have been talking about putting up pictures...well tonight I'm going to take the plunge, when my dearest darling hubby gets home from work I shall have him take a picture of me (all 332 lb's of me, oh yeah!) and I'll post it up, then in one months time, 30th September, I'll post another....not sure how much of a difference it will look seeing as I have so much to loose, but if I can do it so can you guys :D

    Can't wait to see all them pictures then ;)

    Day one weight 145 day two 146. I have many bloating issues. Measurements 23 thighs, 23 left thigh, waist 33.25 neck 12.25
    Goal 135 and maintaining

    Would like to loose and keep 5 pounds off the entire month. Lets work together!! Love motivation. Love to give motivation. One month under my bely not much weight loss but measurements are dropping. Not mentally ready to post pictures. Good luck everyone!!!

    great to hear everyone is motivated with this challenge...we can do this...1 month=4 weeks at a time...mini goals, step by step :wink:

    last night i was so tempted to eat love's white mini donuts with milk......so i ate 1/2 a grapefruit instead then went to bed before i end up eating the donuts. lol
    sweets/chocolate is my weakness...

    i took pictures but not sure if i wanna upload them, lol.....
    i made a file for my before pic so we'll see....

    alright, today is a new day!! eat better & not go over!! or burn more calories...

    ate so poorly yesterday for lunch! was out doing errands then met husband for lunch & we ate thai food. i had a plate lunch which has 2 scoops white rice, 1 serving of 5 spice chicken, and a serving of pumpkin squash with chicken. it was delicious. however i only ate half of it at 12:30 and then ate the other half at 3:30....
    to top it off, there is no calories count in the database...so i just estimate that i went over...

    i'm always eating way more for my protein, is anyone else having that problem...if i dont have enough protein, i tend to get hungrier!
  • I'm going over on carbs, mainly because it's easier to weight dry food like pasta, than it is to weight meat. So I'm eating things like wholemeal pitta bread and lots of cereal...

    Bad I know...maybe when I go back to uni, I'll start eating healthier :)

  • I am ready to lose this weight. I have fumbled with it long enough. My start weight on Monday August 30th was 172lbs. Today I weighted (weekin at 167.5. That is more than I expected to lose, but I am happy with it.

    thank you everyone that posted their week 1 stats....i'm so happy that you are sticking this out with me...3 more weeks and let's see where we're at come 1 month...
    this is a new week, let's do this!!
    i ate poorly this weekend being the holiday and all but i still managed to lose a lil over 1lb, considering...but i havent lost inches, hmmmm........
    anyways, let's lose some more this week
