NSV - Doctor's Appointment

It went swimmingly. It was a physical, so normal breast exam, pap smear, etc.

First, from March 11th to today, I lost 32 lbs. The scale read 150.2 with clothes on! (: It's good to know my bathroom scale isn't way off (last Thursday's weigh-in was 149.5).

Blood pressure was down from 130/85 to 120/80.

Biggest NSV ever - my blood sugar was high last time at 100 fasting (101 is pre-diabetic). I had lost so much weight that my doctor decided to skip the blood test for sugar.

And, of course, compliments all around from the nurse and my doctor for losing the weight. That always feels really good.

All else was normal. Thankfully, my birth control didn't cause any weird stuff to happen.

Lol, love the pic. I hope for that good phone call, though based on the physical test, there's probably nothing wrong.

    That is awesome!!!
I go back to the dr. in December and I want to have great appt., too. I have high blood pressure (on meds) and my blood work for everything else is pretty good (surprisingly).

It is the fact that my sugar and cholesterol are within normal range that motivates me.

In that little amount of time, that much weight loss is great! My doctor hasn't said anything about my weight to me, I know I was in the overweight range but since losing weight I'm less than 5 pounds overweight now. They never have commented on it, although I know they told my mom she was obese and needed to lose weight. (We go to the same doctor.)
