What do you ladies choose to snack on...

What do you ladies snack on during PMS week when you want to devour everything in the house? Are there any snacks that will curb that "must eat" feeling without indeed eating the entire house?
I never have any one craving (like chocolate. salt. carbs. etc.) I just want to eat EVERYTHING!

I get a couple things to help:

    Salty: Sea salt crack chips
Chocolate: Chocolate drizzled mini rice cakes
Sweet: Plain greek yogurt mixed with jello pudding (this can also help with chocolate craving depending on flavor!)

Edit: I should say jello pudding mix. I don't add milk to it - just added the two together.

I eat healthier versions of what I really want or eat a small amount of what I'm actually craving.

For example: If I'm craving pizza I make up small homemade pizzas that do a lot less damage. If I deny the craving it will hit me later down the road a lot harder.

They should be in produce! Walmatt and kroger have them washed and ready to eat with the bags of broccoli and stuff. They really are SO yummy!

I buy these 100 cal packs of almonds that are covered in cocoa powder, vanilla or cinnamon. Only 1g of sugar, and they provide a sweet fix while also providing nutritional value!

Trader Joe's also has fruit bars that are around 100 cals. I love them!

Kashi has some dark chocolate and sea salt bars that are good. 140 cal and 6 protein I believe. :)

Besides the good for you snacks, I had a doctor tell me to eat just a bit of DARK chocolate. It helps with pms and isn't as fattening as milk chocolate.

In the summer I love chocolate ice cream during TOM, I started buying the 40 calorie fudge pops... Even if I eat 3 its only 120 calories!! LOL and they really taste no different than the regular ones at all!

ETA, I dont eat 3 at once often, but ya know... :blushing:

I just eat them although they can be cooked, I think the bag I buy you can steam them right in the microwave

I have major salt cravings!! My quick fix is tomato juice with a zesty dill pickle and a couple olives in it and a serving of turkey pepperoni slices.

I like to buy dark chocolate chips and mix in with natural peanut butter. When I want salt I will put salt on apples or watermelon, or i'll turn to lightly salted nuts. I usually crave spicy and will do cucumbers with chili powder (sometimes I cave and buy bad stuff).

I typically don't crave junk except during PMS. Tonight I had frozen yogurt with candy, a grilled cheese sandwich and tater tots. I feel disgusting but can't help thinking what I would eat if I wasn't full already. I will likely just go to bed to avoid food. I now have a food baby in my belly and it is disgusting.
