Darn you Husband for bringing this home!

So I have a confession! Yesterday I found a peice of red velvet cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory in the fridge! My DH must have not eaten it with his lunch the day before so he brought it home. Anyway, I started eating some & made it through half of it, then something told me to look it up on here & it's 1250 calories per slice! That's more calories than I eat in a whole day! I felt so guilty & put it away immediately! But, my God it was yummy!

1250 calories! What's in it - pure fat?0
-
yummm.... at least you put it back. This will probably help you to remember to check before eating!
Also, have to ask... what does DH stand for? I know SO is significant other but can't figure out what that's an acronym for0 -
I figured it was damn husband.....lol0
-
It's usually Dear Husband, but in the this case, it might very well be Damn Husband. Similarly, DW would be Dear Wife and DF would be Dear Fiance.0
-
its supposed to mean dear hubby or so ive been told0

Oops! I've done stuff like that before & about croaked when I found out the calories or fat in something lol
Live & learn0 -

The amount of fat, carbs & sugar is obscene! I think it had 69 grams of sugar alone!0 -
He can drop a slice off at my house next time. Please?0

Cheesecake may be bad for your waistline but (occasionally) it's good for your soul.........0

Yesterday after my workout my running partner and I had a TON of calories left and were thinking about splurging on some Dairy Queen Blizzards... That plan ended when I looked up the calories in my favorite one, the Georgia Mud Fudge. Coincidentally it has the most calories of any Blizzard on the menu and a large (which I confess I have eaten before) has 1,420 calories in it. A mini (it's TINY) has 420 calories. We decided not to go after that and made instant pudding instead. :sad:0

Am I the only one that found it weird that the OP started eating something out of the fridge that her spouse had brought home, without checking with the spouse about the item?0

I don't find it weird at all, anything in the fridge is fair game at my house! :laugh:0 -

Depends on the house. In my family it's understand that some items are open, but that some are for specific members or occasions.0 -

In my house if it is in the fridge, it is fair game. I never have to worry about my greek yogart or cottage cheese lol.0 -

Same here. The black forest cake Greek yogurt is his, the raspberry acai yogurt is mine. Other than that it's all community property.0 -
Holy cow! Their red velvet cheescake is quite amazing, but holy smokes that's alot of calories. Good to know. I will be avoiding cheesecake from now on0

Yep. If it's in the fridge, it's fair game, unless there's a name on it.0 -
Split it with him then go for a run/walk/hike/Zumba... you get the idea.0
