New Here...Need Support and Motivation

Hi! I'm new here. My doctor suggested this site. I'm a 34 year old with 2 young kids and I've been struggling with my weight ever since I had my first. I don't know how to take care of me any more. I feel guilty taking time away from my family to work out and I'm too busy to eat healthy. I'd love to hear from other people. What do you do, how do you make time for you? I know I need to do it, for me and for my family.

Hi. I'm 32 with two young ones too. This site has helped me so much! I have an elliptical at home and get on for a while after the kids go to bed. Big tip too.... don't forget to log those calories of a bite here and there from the kids plate. It wad a real eye opener to see those added up to hundreds of calories a day.

Thanks! I know that the little things always add up. I'll be sure to make sure I keep track of those little things.

Sometimes I get up early or walk during my lunch break or right after work before I go pick up my son. It helps to squeeze in short 10 to 20 minute activities. Don't stress about doing a long workout all at once - break it up and work up from there. Add me if you like. :)
