Last night I made turkey taco salad...brown up your meat and mix different spices (cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder) mix with a little water and cook up with meat. made a cilantro lime dressing for salad!
Now that veggies are in season you can cook up different squashes and scoop out middle. Add ground turkey with favorite herbs/seasons/ parm cheese and put back in squash then bake!0 -
There've been quite a few threads about ground turkey lately. Use the search function in message boards and you'll find a lot of good ideas. Meanwhile, here's the answer I gave to a similar questions the other day:
Ground turkey can get dry without some veggies in it. I like to whir a bag of fresh spinach in the food processor and combine that with the ground turkey. Adds moisture and all the good aspects of spinach without much taste. It does make the color a little odder when cooked.
Make meatballs out of the whole three pounds, cook them in the oven, and then throw them in the freezer. You can take out however many you want to eat and nuke 'em for instant hot meatballs.
Here are some ground turkey recipes of mine:

My mom makes turkey burgers with the 99% fat free turkey meat. She adds a little light mayo to the whole package and then divides the meat to make the burgers. They taste delicious, but I recommend pan frying and not grilling. When we grilled our burgers, they tasted like sawdust.
My mom also made turkey meatloaf and they were FANTASTIC. She made them in muffin tins so that everyone could control their portion size. She added two tbsps of mayo, one egg, and two tbsps of parm cheese to two packages of ground turkey and then baked them. It was the BEST meatloaf I've ever had.0 -
You know, I don't look for specific ground turkey recipes. I just use it in place of ground beef and everything I've tried so far has turned out yummy!!0

Google "Doc's Chilli" from the Biggest Loser, really delish and so low on cals0

I just made a ground turkey meatloaf w/melba toast, onion, egg whites and a diet-friendly ketchup/tomato sauce and it was super delish! Made enough so that I could freeze some and eat it later in the week. You should give it a try! Surprisingly yummy!0

Thanks...both sound delicious and will try0 -
I mixed ground turkey, shaved zucchini, and shaved carrots then made turkey patties. I grilled them on the George Foreman grill to get the extra grease out. I serve it on 40 calorie bread or by itself as an entree. You can get some great veggies and stretch your meat further.0

I use ground turkey in taco in place of beef. I find that no one can tell due to the taco seasoning (use low sodium for that)!0

This is my most favorite chili and it I stumbled upon the recipe when I was looking for a white chicken chili recipe!

Turkey Chili, not super healthy but oh so yummy.
1 Pound Ground Turkey
2 Cans Low Sodium Red Kidney Beans (drained)
1 Can Low Sodium Diced Tomatoes
A Packet Chili Seasoning
1 Teaspoon Corn Starch
Around 2/3 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon Oil
Brown ground turkey in oil, add all cans and seasoning. Add water, bring to simmer on medium/medium-high, add cornstarch and mix well. Simmer on medium for anywhere between 15 minutes to 45 minutes - the longer the better but it doesn't make a huge difference. Even better reheated the next day!0 -

I combined mine with a pack of pork neck bones and hominy to make Posole in the slow cooker. It was insane good. I find it is best used in wet recipes like sloppy joes and white bean chili0

You can probably use ground turkey in any recipe that calls for ground beef. I don't know if you'd have to adjust the recipe any, though.0 -
Ma Po Tofu. Just replace the ground pork with turkey.

I use ground turkey in any recipe that calls for ground beef, they're pretty much interchangeable. You don't need special ground turkey recipes.0

I love these turkey meatloaf muffins:

And I make these spinach feta turkey burgers regularly:

I do meatballs with a pound of ground turkey, half a cup of seasoned bread crumbs and two egg whites. Some times I will add spinach or other seasoning, but usually keep the core ingredients the same. Rather than bake them right away I freeze the meatballs individually and then I have a quick and easy meal I can grab right out of the freezer. Bake the meatballs at 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes (until well browned).
I will add these to spaghetti or make a meatball sandwich or even just throw them in a crockpot with some sauce for an easy appetizer.0 -
Skinnytaste.com has some excellent recipes for ground turkey. They have an asian meatball recipe that is amazing. Earlier this week we had their sloppy joes and I substituted ground turkey for the ground beef and it was BEYOND FABULOUS! I ate the leftovers over spaghetti squash instead of on a bun to save the carbs and that was delish too!0

Brown and smother with Rotel Chili Fixins. . . instant chili! Woohoo!
Also:
1: Whisk four large eggs or 3/4 egg whites. Season with salt, pepper chives. Scramble cook until not quite done.
2: season ground turkey with salt, white pepper, crushed red pepper and sage, brown, and set aside
3: in same skillet, brown home fries, chopped green peppers and a bit of chopped red onion Don't forget to season with salt
4: Re-incorporate turkey, eggs. Cook, folding occasionally until eggs are done.0 -
