Looking for some vegetarian low carbs food

I want to lose weight in a healthy wAy. Whch is why i want to eat low carbs and low calorie vegetarian foods, preferably the main course one, for lunch/dinner. I am a vegetarian, but i do eat eggs. Any suggestions, guys pls?

    Just eat the right carbs while vegetarian, veggies and whole grains, never white refined breads. Carbs are important, but just make the right choices, it's not necessary to go on a low carb diet to lose weight. Beans are a great source of healthy carbs, protein, iron, fiber and other nutrients.

    If you are eating broccoli and other dark green veggies, and fruits such as cherries, peaches, apples, and berries, you're getting "good" carbs with reasonable carb grams for the nutritional value. If you drink nonfat milk and eat cheese, you're getting some carbs from those, but lots of nutrition too.

    I limit myself to about 100 carb grams a day, so I don't eat much bread or pasta. That's a personal choice based on my prediabetes and the fact that grains don't fill me up the way protein and fats do. I could eat a whole loaf of bread, but 4 ounces of lower-fat cheese would satisfy me more.

    At the end of a day, if I've not felt deprived or unsatisfied, my food diary shows lots of protein, veggies, and some fruit.
    Beans and lentils also provide me with protein, carbs, and a full feeling--more so than bread or pasta.

    You'll find your own way of eating that gives you enough energy and feeling of fullness each day--if you log everyhing and learn from your food diary.

    since you do eggs, you might try making frittatas. tons of things you can put in them to change it up.

    i try not to eat too many white carbs, like janimei was describing. diabetes is a problem in my family so i try to control it a bit so that hopefully it doesn't become a problem for me too. some of the things i like include stuffed tomatoes or peppers, stuffed squash (look up zucchini boats), soups and stews, stir frys without the rice, veggie burgers without the buns, chili, taco salad, seitan with veggies, baked spaghetti squash filled with marinara and mozzarella, scrambled tofu, etc. :)

    If I didn't eat cakes and drink beer I wouldn't be on here.

    Easy way to choose
    Don't buy anything in a packet, or a tin.

    Long term that will keep you in the right place.
