Apparently I don't have enough friends to get feedback so I'll try here.
Does anyone do "cheat" days? My wife suggested I pick one day out of the week to not worry about what I eat. Will this affect weight loss in any way? P.S.- Add me!

I've always done cheat days, with the understanding that its mostly a cheat meal.. I don't really ever go crazy overboard, but if you deny yourself enough its only a matter of time until you purge.0

If your "cheat" day results in you eating at maintenance calories (to find this out, select, I want to lose 0lbs a week on your MFP app) You will not have a caloric deficit that day.
I normally have a 500 calorie deficit a day. If I ate at maintenance calories one day this week I would have a weekly deficit of 3,000 calories instead of 3500. So I would lose slightly less than 1lb that week. It all depends on what your weekly deficit is.
I prefer to workout a lot on the day I know I'm going to be eating more calories than usual, that way I can eat more and still maintain my 500 calorie a day deficit.0
